cantoLX is a professional vocal ensemble based in Luxembourg. Its repertoire focuses mainly on the Baroque period, but also includes Renaissance and contemporary music. As a variable-geometry ensemble, cantoLX adapts to different repertoires, while at the same time following historical research and taking part in the debate on the number of singers per voice. Thanks to its core of soloists, the ensemble retains a sound identity that is recognisable in each of its formations.
Its repertoire focuses mainly on the Baroque period, but does not exclude Renaissance, 19th-century or contemporary music.
