Larisa Faber

For this first stage of her research at neimënster as associate artist, Larisa Faber takes on a whole new project, looking at the Eastern European diaspora, Romanian identity, Maria Tanase, cabbages (sarmale, anyone?) and asparagus (who’ll be picking your “white gold” next spring?).

Larisa Faber was born in Romania under Ceausescu. After the collapse of the communist regime, she emigrated to Luxembourg, where she grew up.

Larisa Faber trained in the UK at the prestigious Drama Centre London, before becoming an award-winning writer and director.

Her work is a humorous and passionate exploration of the topics of aging, reproductive choice and migration.
