Artist residencies
Since its creation in 2004, neimënster has welcomed nearly 12,000 artists in its housing and creative spaces.
Each year, approximately 800 artists for a total of 3,310 overnight stays have been able to take advantage of the accommodation made available to them free of charge or at very affordable rates.
To support the artists in their creations, neimënster has 561 square meters of space at its disposal, divided into accommodation and workshops, in addition to exhibition and performance spaces.
Music, theater, dance, new circus and street arts, but also visual arts and literature... Discover the different residencies offered in this heritage place where history nourishes creation.

RÉSIDENCES littérature
on the proposal of partner structures / a jury
Two literary residencies are offered each year, from March to May and from August to November. Organized with partners, they include the provision of accommodation away from noise pollution, a living allowance and are punctuated by meetings with the public.
neimënster also wishes to create intercultural synergies by developing a translation residency that will host authors and translators over several months. This residency will put translation, particularly in sign language, at the service of the arts and will focus on poetry and theater.
