What is written and what is not? This brand new project is the result of the meeting of two Luxemburgish musicians with musical backgrounds that are often declared to be opposed: Béa Picard, a classical percussionist studying in Amsterdam, and Arthur Possing, a jazz pianist and vibraphonist. The duo found each other last year (2021) during the creation of an international, eclectic group of musicians in Germany. They quickly discovered their common appreciation of timing and rhythmic perception, regardless of style, which motivated them to develop a singular universe. Their passion for writing and arranging is also a driving force behind the group, as they try to cross the boundaries between so-called written and improvised music. The programme includes personal compositions, minimalist pieces and adaptations of pop/rock music.
