EN: Fahrije, a widow in post-war Kosovo, has an ambition to set up her own small ajvar production business. The traditional patriarchal village community does not approve. Drawing strength from its simple storytelling and from a powerful central performance, Hive pays tribute to real women who had to struggle to able to win their independence.

FR: Fahrije vit dans le Kosovo d'après-guerre.  Veuve, elle souhaite créer sa propre coopérative de production d'ajvar, mais la communauté villageoise patriarcale traditionnelle s'oppose à ce projet. Tirant sa force de sa narration simple et du jeu du personnage principal, totalement captivant, Hive rend un hommage intime aux femmes qui se sont battues pour gagner leur indépendance.
