Fr    CinEast, le Festival du film d’Europe centrale et orientale au Luxembourg, qui s'efforce de proposer le meilleur du cinéma contemporain de 18 pays de l’ancien bloc communiste, vous donne rendez-vous en octobre pour sa 9e édition. Le Festival présentera une cinquantaine de longs-métrages, souvent en présence d'invités spéciaux (réalisateurs, acteurs, producteurs) qui répondront aux questions des spectateurs. En outre, le programme du festival comprend une riche palette d’événements annexes: concerts, expositions, débats, ou encore des occasions de découvrir la gastronomie de la région.
Comme chaque année, un nombre important de ces festivités aura lieu à neimënster. Le public pourra découvrir dans la salle Krieps une vingtaine de long-métrages souvent primés aux festivals internationaux, dont de nombreuses comédies, un ciné-concert extraordinaire proposé par l’ensemble jazz slovaque Bashavel et trois marathons de courts-métrages. Les cinéphiles en herbe de toutes les nationalités pourront voir une sélection amusante de dessins animés sans paroles lors du traditionnel Kids Show.
Le thème choisi pour l’édition 2016 est Loin de chez soi – sujet au cœur de plusieurs films et de l’exposition de photographies installée dans les salles voûtées pendant le festival (entrée libre). Huit projets photographiques de plusieurs pays y seront présentés, portant un regard original sur ceux qui ont dû ou ont choisi de quitter leur chez-soi.

De    CinEast, das Festival für mittel- und osteuropäische Filme in Luxemburg, bringt in seiner 9. Ausgabe eine Auswahl der besten zeitgenössischen Filme aus 18 Ländern des ehemaligen kommunistischen Blockes. Es werden rund 50 Spielfilme vorgestellt, oft in Anwesenheit bedeutender Gäste (Regisseure, Schauspieler, Produzenten), die auf die Fragen der Zuschauer antworten werden. Darüber hinaus finden Konzerte, Ausstellungen und Diskussionsrunden statt und es werden kulinarische Spezialitäten aus den verschiedenen Regionen angeboten.
Wie jedes Jahr finden viele der Veranstaltungen in neimënster statt. Die rund 20 Spielfilme, einige wurden auf internationalen Festivals preisgekrönt, werden im Saal Krieps präsentiert, darunter zahlreiche Komödien, ein Ciné-Konzert mit dem slowakischen Jazz-Ensemble Bashavel sowie drei Kurzfilm-Marathons. Die jüngsten Kino-Fans können eine lustige Auswahl an Zeichentrickfilmen ohne Dialoge bei der traditionellen Kids Show entdecken.
Das für die Ausgabe 2016 gewählte Thema ist Weit weg von zu Hause - Thema mehrerer Filme wie auch der Foto-Ausstellung, die während des Festivals in den Gewölbesälen gezeigt wird. Acht Fotoprojekte aus mehreren Ländern werden dort vorgestellt und richten einen Blick auf diejenigen, die gezwungen waren oder selbst entschieden haben, ihr Zuhause zu verlassen.
